Smith And Jones: Review

This episode marks the first episode officially of series 3. It also features the debut of Freema Agyeman playing the Doctor's companion, Martha Jones, who from first viewing only is easily accepted as brilliant. Not only is she clever, but also demanding. For example, she thinks the Doctor must earn his title.



And who can forget the 'Space Rhinos', The Judoon. Their costumes are brilliant, and the fact that they are interplanetary Police is also a nice variation of just a basic alien threat. Then there's the Plasmavore, Mrs Finnegan who, quite frankly, is the scariest Gran I've ever seen.

I loved the place where this episode was set, too, in a hospital (surrounded by the moon and space). So, because it is such a great episode, as per-usual, I rate it 9/10
