This book was the first Doctor Who novel I ever owned, and I thought it was, as usual, great! It is set in Africa, not all that far away in time from where we are now. I thought this book was good because the alien threat was somewhat different. A gold substance covered people and made tham statues. How great is that?
Also, about mid way through the book, I liked the actual alien revelation, and his character, he had multiple tongues. I loved the plot of the book, too, that it all turned out to be some intergalactic war for.... money!
Overall, I would rate this book 7/10, as it was very good, and i'd reccomend it to anyone!
